How do I connect my Kit account to JustCast?

With the JustCast and Kit integration, you can add new tagged subscribers to your private podcast and automatically update their unique feed URL in Kit. Follow these simple steps to set up the integration.

1. Installing the JustCast Kit app

To connect JustCast with ConvertKit:

1. Go to the Kit App Store and scroll to find the JustCast app.
2. Click "Install" to begin the setup.
3. You’ll be redirected to JustCast, where you’ll either:
   • Sign in to your JustCast account, or
   • See a page requesting permission for JustCast to read and write to your Kit account.
4. Click "Grant Access to JustCast" to authorize the connection.
5. You'll be redirected back to Kit, confirming that the JustCast app is now installed.

2. Linking Kit Tags to Your JustCast Private Podcast

By linking Kit tags to a JustCast private podcast, you ensure that new tagged subscribers are automatically added and receive their unique feed. Their private feed URL is also stored in a Kit custom field, making it easy to include in emails.

Steps to Add Kit Tags to Your Private Podcast

• In JustCast, navigate to the private podcast you want to connect.
• Click Private Subscribers in the left sidebar.
• Go to the Connections tab.
• Scroll down to the Kit section and click Settings.
• Use the dropdown menu to select the Kit tag you want to link to this podcast.
• Click “Add Group” to save your selection.

Done! Now, whenever someone is added to the linked Kit tag:

• They are automatically added to the private podcast.
• Their unique feed URL is stored in a Kit custom field for easy sharing via email.
• If they are removed from the tag, their private podcast access is also revoked.
